Ayn-Monique Klahre is a writer, editor, and content director. She spent over a decade in New York City as a staffer at InStyle, Woman's Day, FamilyFun, and Good Housekeeping magazines. There, she produced stories for print and digital about all sorts of lifestyle topics, including decorating, home improvement, organization, entertaining, and crafting. As a freelance writer, she’s been published in media outlets including Real Simple, Business Insider, Apartment Therapy and The New York Times. 

Today, Ayn-Monique lives with her family in Raleigh, North Carolina. She’s been the editor of WALTER, the city’s arts and culture magazine, since 2018.

Ayn-Monique graduated from Princeton University and received a certificate in Publishing from the Columbia Journalism School.
